If you have an existing Dog Account, please do not create another account. Additionally, if your Dog is inactive, do not create another dog. Creating a duplicate account or dog causes delays and increases processing time for your application.
You can add a dog to your existing account or reactivate an existing dog either through your MyCity Profile or in Person at the locations listed below.
Submit your application:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old to purchase or renew a dog licence.
- Licences are to be renewed on or before December 31 of each year.

If you are registering a service dog, a copy of the Provincial Service Dog Licence is required to accompany your application.
2026 Dog Licence Fees*
- Altered Dog (spayed/neutered): $37.55
- Unaltered dog (intact): $80.55
- Replacement tag $14.40
*Dog licences expire annually, on December 31st of each year. The dog licence fee is a flat rate and is not pro-rated based upon month of purchase.
